BIFFY CLYRO TO PLAY THE EL REY ON VALENTINE'S DAY

Breakthrough rock band Biffy Clyro are returning to North America in early 2014 for a string of headline shows. The band plays a Valentine's Day show at  Los Angeles' El Rey Theatre on February 14th.

The Scottish trio is touring in support of their new album, Opposites, which debuted at #1 in the UK with over 70,000 copies sold first week. Opposites won the Kerrang and Q Award for Best Album and Biffy won this year's NME Award for Best British Band.
Produced by Garth Richardson (Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers) in Los Angeles, CA, Opposites has received overwhelming critical praise. "Opposites is a vastly original, exquisitely-produced, fully-realized and creatively outstanding piece of work," declared Kerrang! "The chances of any band this year releasing an album that can claim to be its equal are nil." Q magazine agreed, saying, "Opposites confirms Biffy as the emerging band of the decade. Their sixth album has everything you want from a rock group... Watch them conquer." Kerrang! also recently named front man Simon Neil "The Greatest Rock Star in the World Today."
