Long-time resident of southern California, Andrew McMahon is best known as lead vocalist, pianist and primary songwriter for bands Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin.  Andrew’s blend of vocal and songwriting skills combined with the incorporation of his piano playing, led punk-pop quintet Something Corporate to their first major record label signing under MCA Records, who released the band’s critically acclaimed album Leaving Through the Window in 2002.  Shortly thereafter, the band found success on the road with main stage gigs on the Warped Tour and tours overseas.  In the summer of 2004, Something Corporate decided to take a break, at which point McMahon found himself writing a batch of confessional piano-driven songs that explored his return home to Orange County and the dissolution of a long term relationship. With the help of several musician friends (which included producer Jim Wirt and Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee), McMahon began recording Everything in Transit under the moniker Jack’s Mannequin which released in August of 2005 under Warner Brothers’ Maverick Records.  McMahon went on to release another studio album with Jack's Mannequin titled The Glass Passenger, under which he toured with the likes of The Fray and Weezer.  People and Things was the final release from Jack’s Mannequin which was released in the fall of 2011 and charted at number 9 on the Billboard album charts.  The band played their two final sold out shows on November 11th and 12th 2012 at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles.  In July 2006, McMahon founded a non-profit charity, entitled “The Dear Jack Foundation” which advocates for and supports initiatives that directly benefit adolescents and young adults (AYA) diagnosed with cancer.  McMahon released a documentary titled "Dear Jack" in November of 2009 which chronicled his own battle with leukemia, his treatment and recovery.  On April 30th, 2013, McMahon released his first solo EP, The Pop Underground, which marks the first project under his own name.  For more on Andrew McMahon please visit:

Los Angeles, CA- May 29, 2013 - Multi-platinum rock band LIVE are hitting the road again, starting tonight in Ft. Meyers, FL on the Summerland tour with Everclear, Filter and Sponge. The 40 city tour will bring the bands across the US and back, ending in Kansas City on July 28.  Last weekend, prior to kicking off the tour, LIVE accomplished a huge personal dream most kids grow up having (on top of being a rock star, of course) - teaming up with world famous Andretti Autosport at the Indianapolis 500. Not only did the band perform at the Andretti's annual Night Before Party, but they were featured on the No. 25 Chevrolet piloted by third-generation racer Marco Andretti. Earlier in the week, LIVE were proud to perform at the annual Racing for Cancer The Yellow Party fundraiser to kick off the Indy 500 festivities.

Tomorrow, May 30, LIVE will be heading to the United States Army Reserve Aviation Support Facility on St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport to commemorate the 105th birthday of the U.S. Army Reserve before heading to the Mahaffey Theatre for the Summerland show that evening.

The York, Pennsylvania band-lead guitarist Chad Taylor, bassist Patrick Dahlheimer, drummer Chad Gracey, and vocalist Chris Shinn are looking forward to heading out on the road to play the songs everyone knows so well along with testing out some new material. Throughout their career, LIVE has sold over 22 million albums worldwide. Rolling Stone and MTV both dubbed the albumThrowing Copper as "One of the 25 Greatest Rock Albums of All-Time", while tastemakers fromSpin to The New York Times lauded it with equal praise.

LIVE has already been hard at work in the studio with plans to release a full length album later this year.

Los Angeles, CA – Beloved Flint, Michigan punk rock band The Swellers has officially signed with burgeoning Huntington Beach based independent label No Sleep Records.  Wasting no time at all, the label will be re-releasing the band’s EP, Running Out Of Places To Go, with two additional bonus acoustic tracks and has plans to release a new album by The Swellers later this year.  Fans can pick up a copy Running Out of Places To Go on CD at
The Swellers join a growing, tight knit, eclectic family of bands and artists at No Sleep Records that include Balance and Composure, Mixtapes, Broadway Calls, Sainthood Reps, La Dispute and Allison Weiss among many other notable acts.
“I’ve been a friend/fan of the Swellers for a long time,” says No Sleep president Chris Hansen. “We could not be happier to call them family and we are excited for the world to hear their new record.”
"We've always been fans of No Sleep Records' roster and presence in our music scene,” The Swellers’ drummer Jonathan Diener adds.  “While we were on other labels we secretly wished we could sign over, but knew it wasn't possible.  To be completely honest, Chris would hit us up every year and tell us to sign, but we'd both laugh it off until we became an independent band.  Finally the stars aligned and we just went with our gut instinct.  We want to fully embrace our newfound mentality of keeping things in the family and there's no better choice than our close friend's awesome record label, No Sleep Records."
"Very excited to be working with No Sleep,” guitarist/vocalist Nick Diener continues.  “I think our friends and fans know why this team makes perfect sense.  We self-released our EP Running Out Of Places To Go last year, but No Sleep felt the record deserved to reach a bigger audience so they're helping us re-release it this summer!"
Needless to say, people are stoked!
For those who’ve been hiding under a rock, The Swellers got their start in 2002 when brothers Nick and Jonathan Diener and a friend got together and recorded some demos in their basement.  Next thing you know the band is playing shows around Flint and word of their performances starts spreading like wildfire around the the region and eventually the country.
By 2009, The Swellers inked a deal with Fueled By Ramen and began touring with Paramore, Less Than Jake, Motion City Soundtrack, Bayside, The Vans Warped Tour and more.  They released their first full-length album, Ups and Downsizing, later that year, which put the guys on the international map with critical acclaim and a rigorous worldwide touring.
The band followed up with an incredible second studio album, Good for Me, which was produced by Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag, Rise Against) and also received vast praise from the media.  Soon after the release the guys left Fueled By Ramen and released a 7” vinyl, Vehicle City Blues, with friends at SideOneDummy Records.
Years of nonstop touring and music industry blunders lead to embracing their free-agent status and the self-release ofRunning Out Of Places To Go in late 2012.  The 5-song EP was recorded mostly in Nick's house with help from a few friends and was a therapeutic release after a year of trial and error.
Longing for the family environment of like-minded bands and support staff that actually appreciate and get their music, The Swellers took up No Sleep Records’ president Chris Hansen’s long standing offer to join the label, which has become one of the scene’s most revered labels in the last several years and home to some of punk, post-punk, hardcore, singer-songwriter and metal’s most forward-sounding bands around.
The Swellers will re-release their new EP, Running Out Of Places To Go, with two additional bonus acoustic tracks digitally and for the first time on CD on May 24th with a repress of the 10” vinyl version coming out soon.  They’re also planning to release a new album, that’s already been written, recorded and currently being mixed by Marc Hudson (Saves The Day, Taking Back Sunday), later this year.

May 23, 2013 – Los Angeles, CA – Indie/Alternative-pop band Long Lost has announced plans to release their debut full-length album, Save Yourself, Start Again, on August 6th via No Sleep Records.  The band, which is fronted by vocalist Joe Boynton of beloved indie/pop punk band Transit, has premiered the first new track, “Want,” from the album today  Fans are invited to pre-order the new album from No Sleep now at
Listen to “Want” now at
What began as an acoustic side project between the Transit vocalist Joe Boynton and guitarist Vinny Comeau in 2010 between touring has lead to a full-time band over the course of the last year.  The duo signed with No Sleep Records in late 2012 and entered the studio with co-producer Gary Cioffi, Jr. (Transit, Misser) in early 2013 to record their first full-length with drummer Aviv Marotz, guitarist Mat Morin and Bassist Mike Moschetto in tow.
Once in the studio Comeau departed the band, leaving the rest of the guys primary reign over the songwriting and direction of the new material, resulting in a bright and airy collection of ten beautiful indie-pop tunes that exhibit a range of styles and moods, from upbeat power-pop to solemn folk, which any fans of bands like Death Cab For Cutie, Circa Survive, Maps & Atlases and Rilo Kiley will undoubtedly adore.
“It's been a long time coming and I can't wait to share these songs with everyone,” says Boynton.
“We entered the studio with just some simple acoustic tunes, but left with a record that's bigger, better and more varied than we'd imagined,” adds Moschetto.
Long Lost has premiered the first new song, “Want,” their second officially released song to date, from their upcoming album today.  The song is a simple, heartfelt ballad that starts with Boynton’s inimitable vocals backed by an acoustic guitar and abounds with catchy verses and a memorable chorus that will surely be a fan favorite.
"It's hard to pick favorites from the record, but in trying to make a first impression, I think we all had 'Want' in mind,” says Moschetto.  “I think we're all in top form on this one."
