On their latest song from Resonate/Desperate, “Incantations,” State Faults engage listeners with breakneck intensity.  Rapid firing drums, jagged guitar riffs and throat ripping vocals abound as the band tears through the track with fierce aggression.  “Incantations” follows the band’s recent releases for two other new songs, “Wildfires” and “Meteor,” fromResonate/Desperate.
“”Incantations” almost didn't make it onto this record,” explains State Faults’ Jared Wallace.  “We had written it just after we finished wrapping things up for Desolate Peaks and it sat on the back burner until the very end of our writing sessions for Resonate/Desperate when we wrote the song Spectral. We realized immediately afterwards that the two fit together perfectly and It wound up being the last song that we added to the list of new material before we headed into the studio.  It's one of the most energetic songs on R/D and along with “Spectral,” it's got one of the most complicated drum parts i wrote for this record. Its a lot of fun to play and i don't think the record as a whole would feel the same without it.”
