Hell Or Highwater: "The Other Side"

Orange County's Hell or Highwater dropped their newest release "The Other Side" this week. No matter what arbitrary musical category you lump this band into, they will put out a new song that will defy you. With this new 5 song EP, Hell or Highwater do what so many bands fail to achieve with an EP, they present an ambitious resume of the many different sides of the band. What's even more impressive is that each side is really damn good. Whether channeling Avenged Sevenfold, or remaking Journey-style arena rock for a new era, it is clear this band is bound for bigger things.

Unlike so many of their contemporaries who either swing too far in the meat-head direction, or are too young and inexperienced to be taken seriously, Hell or Highwater show a great deal of heart and thought behind all their power. Watch them flex their arena rock muscle this September when they play with Avenged Sevenfold and Alice In Chains at Sleep Train Amphitheater in Chula Vista on the 14th. If you happen to be in the IE you can catch the band for free on August 28th at Pharaoh's Splash Kingdom in Redlands alongside Divide The Day.

Track Listing:

1. Moment of Clarity
2. The Other Side
3. Wrong
4. Remember The Life and Not The Death
5. Drowning In The Waves
