Versus The World: "Drink. Sing. Live. Love."

Versus The World, featuring members of The Ataris, Lagwagon and Crooks and Liars, sound like a band with experience. While they released Drink. Sing. Live. Love., back at the end of July it had been sadly stuck in the 'to do' pile for awhile, it had now been picked up and put into contant rotation. It really is that good. Spanning a stylistic range from pop-punk, to rock, and a few tracks leaning a bit heavier, they really present themselves as a band that can not only do it all, but do it all well. If they were going to wait seven years to release a second album, it seems they were damn well intent that it be worth the wait. While you can hear a degree of Ataris influence on particular tracks, Drink. Sing. Live. Love. is a terrific album all on its own merits. Very strong vocals, extemely engaging lyrics, all powered by a supremely tight band. It is truly hard to find anything negative about this album.

**Key Track: "Crooks and Liars"
