LCD Soundsystem: Shut Up And Play The Hits

Few of you could have missed the fact the LCD Soundsystem hung it up recently, despite being at the zenith of their popularity. Said hanging up was done with a four hour odyssey in NYC. This is event was captured and developed into a film, covering the lead up and lead down from the days events. The movie Shut Up And Play The Hits is coming to theaters on July 18th for a one night only showing. Tickets are set to go on sale at select theaters in just a week on June 8th. This is the sort of film that requires a movie screen and a large group of people. The experience just wouldn't be the same at home with your DVD which they assuredly eventually will come out with.
