"If you like MGMT or Empire Of The Sun, we think you will love Kids Of 88! Turn up the volume and dance!!!" - Perez Hilton
"Its synth-driven groove brings to mind the most pop elements of NEW ORDER and THE HUMAN LEAGUE, while fans of the first KILLERS record or Decaydance output should dig the hell out of this." - Kik Axe Music
"They sound like the ultimate ’80s dance-pop mix melted down and poured into a new, sleeker mold." - MTV Iggy's "SXSW 2011: 10 International Artists To Watch"

Since landing stateside at last year’s CMJ, Kids of 88 have been making inroads into the U.S. market. Their debut EP, Just a Little Bit, on Dryden Street/Sony Independent Networks has moved steadily up the CMJ Top 200 charts and has garnered the band steady airplay across the country—from winter-weary New England and Northeast to the sunny shores of Honolulu, HI.
Jordan and Sam have been friends since the age of 12, and the duo has been making music together since their teens. In a short time, Kids of 88 rose to bona fide stardom in their home country of New Zealand. “My House” became Kids of 88’s first platinum-selling single in 2009 and in 2010, the band took home “Single of the Year” and “Video of the Year” honors at the New Zealand Music Awards for their gold-selling single “Just a Little Bit.” Kids of 88’s full-length album, Sugarpills, is due for U.S. release this summer. The band is also planning more U.S. tour dates to more cities in May.
